Version 1.1.0 April 24, 2024
We've made changes to the article template and blog layout and fixed issues when adding/removing sections, updated schema to include paywall and improve SEO, added missing translations, and addressed global style inconsistencies based on theme color, typography and layout settings.
Removed
- Blog Banner category block color scheme setting and defaults to blog banner section color scheme setting.
- Video and audio file access in schema to paywall content
- unused global files
- unused left/right article sidebar setting
Added
- Added new background and text color setting to Blog Banner category block (replaces old color scheme setting)
- An aspect ratio setting was added feature image block in Blog Post Section of Article Template
- A title and meta block was added to Blog Post section of Article template
- Included paywall schema property on exclusive posts
- Video posts now have video thumbnail schema property on BlogPosting
- The sponsor schema now supports multiple sponsors
- Missing translation keys

- The article sidebar is now located as section within to the template for flexibility
- Updated BlogPosting isSubject to MainEntity of page for video and audio posts
- Changed page_description to excerpt_or_content for BlogPosting the description property
- Settings: Relocated "default author" setting to Blogs to indicate it is used on cards and pages
Other fixes and improvements
- Fixed PDP app block spacing issues
- There is no longer a "comments listing" error in BlogPosting Schema
- Featured blogs now loads the correct number of posts
- Tabbed content text now aligns as expected
- Main header title and text hide when empty
- Menu drawer title and text hide when empty
- Menu icon uses the global font color setting
- Checkboxes and radios use the primary color when checked vs border color
- Body and heading font now scale separately based on setting
- subscribe optional text on PDP, featured product and product shortcode hides when unchecked
