We’ve been using Shopify for quite some time and used quite a few different themes, but none compare to 2.0 Alchemy for clean code and fast load times. The theme has a lot of customizations and is easy to set up. This is a great theme and one of the most complete in terms of features and functionalities. I have compared it with other 3rd party themes of shopify before purchasing it. Very easy to use and intuitive. And the theme support team are extremely responsive and helpful when I have a query or issue.

We've updated the currency selector and fixed some minor bugs.
Changed
- Updated the currency selector to country/region selector, to support Shopify Markets.
- Removed the option to show the currency and language selectors in the header.
Fixes and improvements
- Fixed an issue with the collection "sort by" selector not showing on mobile if the store has no filters.
- Fixed the breadcrumbs position on product pages if a full width section is added above the product details.
- Fixed an issue with the background video not being visible in the theme editor if no cover image is added.
- Fixed an issue with the menu icon sometimes not showing when switching from desktop to mobile in the theme editor.
- Fixed an error in the "Get support" url.

We've added a new "Image banner" section, replaced the "Rich text columns" and "Product features" sections, improved the "Slideshow" section, added color scheme options for multiple sections, standardized section settings, added various new section settings and supporting info, and made several performance updates.
Added
- New "Image banner" section with optional text overlay
- New "Multi-column" section (replaces the "Rich text columns" section)
- New "Logo list / Feature list" section (replaces the "Product features" section which was only available on product pages)
- New "Color scheme" settings - 2 schemes can be defined in the main theme settings and several sections have the option to select one of these color schemes or set custom colors
- New option to show the featured article image in the hero banner section
- New background style setting in the hero banner section
- New image overlay tint setting in the hero banner section
- New option to upload a separate mobile image for slides in the "Slideshow" section
- New text overlay style options ("background" or "border") in full width media sections
- New option to show text below image on mobile in full width media sections
- New background style setting ("section" or "content") in the "Image with text", "Slideshow with text" and "Map" sections
- New text alignment setting in "Slideshow with text" and "Map" sections
- New footer background and text color settings
- New scale and capitalize settings for headings
- New setting to show or hide the currency code
Changed
- Content for "Video" and "Background video" sections has been moved into blocks
- Settings in all full width media sections ("Slideshow", "Image banner", "Video" and "Background video") have been standardized and improved, including new info regarding recommended image sizes
- Product media gallery thumbnails are now a vertical scroller on desktop (previously all shown below the main product image)
- Product ratings now use reviews metafields
- The "Layout" tab in the theme settings has been renamed to "Hero banners" and the color settings for hero banners have moved from the "Colors" tab into the newly named tab
- Button settings have been moved from "Typography" into their own tab in theme settings, and separate settings have been added for secondary button colors
Removed
- Important: The "Rich text columns" section has been removed (replaced by the new "Multi-column" section)
- Important: The "Product features" section has been removed (replaced by the new "Logo list / Feature list" section)
Fixes and improvements
- New "collapse all media" button when media expanded in the product gallery
- Product filters are now all closed by default on mobile
- Asterisks have been added to the text labels of required form fields
- Accessibility of pagination and disabled links has been improved
- Full width images are now cropped on mobile to prevent loading larger images than required if using desktop images for mobile
- Responsive image sizes are now tailored to each specific instance rather than a default list, to improve performance
