This maintenance release fixes priority issues which have been reported by our customers (thank you, all!) Please reference the changelog to learn about everything included in the previous v1.6 major release.

• Predictive search functionality issues in the main navigation section
• Price range filter issue when applied filter does not match any products

• Fallback settings for cards using "default" and "theme setting" image aspect ratio settings

This major release provides significant refinement and control to the Align theme and fixes priority issues which have been reported by our customers (thank you, all!) This is our biggest release to date and we appreciate everyone's patience as we ensure the highest level of quality.

We're most excited to launch our new color and image-based variant interfaces for Product templates — check out the improved Variant block in the Product information section! This leverages the recent updates Shopify has made to swatch handling, but we've added a few of our own concepts and settings: we're loving this additional flexibility, but we'd love to get any/all feedback as you start to implement this in your stores. (Next up: we'll be implementing these swatch filters in Collections! 👀)

This release also includes our fifth major round of theme localization support, including support for English (GB), Finnish, Indonesian, Polish, and Swedish languages (👋 🇬🇧 🇫🇮 🇮🇩 🇵🇱 🇸🇪). This is in addition to the languages added in our previous major releases (👋 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇮🇹 🇱🇹 🇪🇸 🇨🇳 🇳🇱 🇯🇵 🇵🇹 🇧🇷 🇩🇰 🇬🇷 🇮🇳 🇹🇷 🇰🇷 🇳🇴 🇷🇺 🇺🇦 🇻🇳) and brings us to a total of twenty-five supported languages!

Beyond that, we've added additional powerful new theme, section, and block settings throughout and we've continued to optimize our underlying codebase to continue launching exciting new updates in our next major releases.

This is Align's sixth major release, and our fourteenth overall since Align went live. Please reference the changelog to learn about everything included in in previous v1.5 release!
