Awesome theme with great support. This theme has everything you could want. It looks so professional and has so many different ways to display information. It's also easy to tweak in code to make it unique to your store. The creator responded to my questions quickly and assisted me with making a change I couldn't figure out.
Top notch! Appreciate the California theme for its modern and attractive appearance and functionality. You also get quick, easy-to-understand and descriptive support that Guille provides. If you are not a technical genius yourself, here you get that little extra and the necessary help you may need. That kind of service is rare but all the more appreciated! Simply world-class service!
ALERT! Anyone looking for an amazingly functional & modern theme. This is for them! Nice, premium theme with attractive features. We do not know much Html coding & needed a few changes per our requirements. Guille has not only done the requested changes, but he checked other errors(which we didn't notice) and corrected them. Prompt response, excellent work ethic, & extremely helpful.
ive had this theme for about 6 years and for an international business its perfect! wouldn't use anything else.

California 9.8.0, introduces latest Shopify features: query suggestions to predictive search and new section groups.

- Added query suggestions to predictive search.
- Added header-group and footer-group sections.

- Prevent scrolling on changing variants when unified variants is set.

California 9.7.0, a new monthly theme update. This time, introducing exciting changes on product and collection pages.
Added
- Added option to consolidate all product variant images in one image, that changes depending on product's selected variant.
- Added draggable product media gallery on mobile, including the option to hide the thumbnails.
- Added option to have a "tax included" message below the product price.
- Added option to change the product media layout to the left or to the right, to have it bigger, smaller or normal.
- Added option to have a maximum section width in the "Product information" and "Featured product" sections.
- Added new layout settings to the "Hero" section, so "auto" or "fixed height" can be used on both desktop and mobile.
- Added option to control the Collection's amount of columns on desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Added labels to input fields and textareas in login and register forms, newsletter sign up, search bar, etc.
Changed
- Changed image zoom on product pages, so now it shows as a magnifier icon at bottom right corner of the product's image.
- Changed "Hero", "Featured video" and "Custom content" sections to have the option to use uploaded videos.
- Optimized product media thumb image sizes.
Fixes and other improvements
- Fixed issue when trying to render products without an image.
- Fixed product videos issue that was preventing videos to render at the video's own aspect ratio.
- Fixed bug that was preventing "Shop Pay Installments" information to update on product variant change.
- Fixed CSS bug with footer hover color.
- Fixed bug that was preventing product variants change on none Latin alphabets.

California 9.6.0, we keep going with a monthly theme update. This time adding dynamic product variant options that update depending on availability, the option to enable fade transitions between pages, and some speed optimizations among other things.
Added
- In the product's variant picker block, now you have the option to enable dynamic product options depending on product availability.
- We have a new optional image to the pop-up section.
- We have added eager loading to the first product image, to improve page speed.
- We have added the option to hide product variant labels.
- We have added new theme setting with the option to have fade transitions between pages.
- We have added 'wide' and 'tall' to theme settings product image ratio options.
Changed
- We have changed the language selector in the footer and side nav to include the language description.
- We have set a minimum width for checkout buttons on cart page, so they look more prominent.
- We have changed how fonts are loaded to improve page speed.
- We have added the option to reduce font sizes.
- We have refactored our theme's code to use image_tag and benefit from the new focal point object-position.
Fixes and other improvements
- We have refactored our CSS files to remove all LIQUID references.
- We have removed the border from Apple Pay button, so it improves the look and feel.
