Purchased this theme less than a year ago and spent 6 months developing and refining our store, only for the developers to create a new "update" that doesn't support any prior versions. * If it doesnt allow you to complete a straight download intergration without a redesign of your site store, ITS NOT AN UPDATE! Its a new theme.
Hi Ruby Vixen. While we greatly appreciate the feedback, we have to evolve our products from time to time. As we stated in the changelog this not an autoupdate but rather an entire rebuild to make CANOPY faster, better, and packed with an incredible amount of new features - including bulk order for B2B style product pages. It is a one-off major rescale that is packed with enhancements.

Added a new section, improvements to the product page lightbox, and many other improvements and optimizations.
Added
- Product list - Added a new section for displaying product cards more conveniently.
- Product page - Added a setting to include thumbnails within the lightbox.
- Product page - A new setting has been added to allow image zooming to be triggered by click instead of hover.
- Added support for Shopify native swatches.
- Added a setting for "Sign in with Shop" button on the login page.

- Slideshow section - no longer crops the image when 'Height of first image' is chosen.
Fixes and improvements
- Made performance improvements to CLS and LCP.
- Made accessibility optimizations to the price input slider for keyboard entry.
- Optimized the spacing of empty app sections.
- X (formerly Twitter) links now work with x.com.
- Improved the handling of exceeding inventory quantities when adding to the cart.
- Fixed an issue Grid/List view issue on Collection page when previewing your store.
- Fixed an issue with Quick buy and the Featured Product section.

- Links are now more visible in the footer.

We've enhanced the product page with a new image gallery popup and addressed some bugs.
Added
- Added a new zoom mode for the product page, allowing a lightbox popup for a larger view of product images.
Fixes and improvements
- The 'Empty cart' button in the cart drawer now correctly updates the state of product card quantity selectors.
- On the collection page, if no default image is set for a collection, it will now display the image of the first product.
- Fixed minor alignment issue with the quantity selector.
