I don’t want to lose my theme but something changed this week and now my customers cart keeps emptying. I’ve messaged you and hope we can sort it out as I’ve spent so long on the store getting it to look and work great.

Not only is the Canopy theme beautiful and Super easy to work with, but the support team is Amazing. I purchased this theme two years ago and when I had an issue (caused by an app I installed) I wasn't sure they'd offer much help. In response to my email, though, I promptly received a video, made just for me, running through my issue and explaining exactly how to pinpoint the problem and fix it!

Introducing Canopy 6.0.0, a complete ground-up rebuild that comes packed with 12 entirely new sections, a host of powerful new features and settings, and incredible speed optimizations and performance improvements.

Added

Important: If you have a previous version of Canopy, DO NOT attempt to auto-update. You will need to install and set up Canopy 6.0.0 as a new theme.
Product comparison grid section - an excellent way of visually presenting high-level overviews of key product features - side-by-side - in a compact and easy to use section.
Promo grid section - use stylized text options to highlight special offers and promotions in a highly customizable image grid format.
Countdown timer section - create urgency around sales events or promotions with an animated timer that counts down in seconds, minutes, hours and days from a specific date and time.
Shoppable image section - place 'hotspots' over an image to assist with upselling or guiding customers to complementary products with this interactive 'Shop the Look' section.
Promo strip section - a convenient way to share discount codes or special messages with your customers to help drive sales and increase conversion rates.
Product features section - place 'hotspots' over an image to help to drive engagement with your customers by visually highlight key product features and USPs.
Scrolling banner section - bring motion to your store and showcase exciting updates, breaking news, or up-to-date information with a visually engaging row of moving content.
Collapsible content section - enable customers to explore in-depth text content, or see answers to common queries, in a compact 'at-a-glance' format, typically used for FAQs and help sections.
Press testimonials section - build trust and confidence with your customers by displaying quotes and accolades from the press in a carousel-style format.
Link lists section - assist customers with product discovery by presenting multiple navigation menus within a single, easy-to-explore section.
Age verification popup section - allow customers to verify their age prior to browsing, with the click of a button.
Contact form section - start a conversation or increase engagement with your customers by enabling them to input their details and send a message directly to you.
Product page - a complete page overhaul, including all-new media and content layout options and sections, and additional new section blocks such as Quick Order, Flash Messages, Barcode and Popup.
Product cards - refreshed design and layout options including settings to show product inventory and stock levels, and custom labels.
Search - now has animated, customisable prompts and speech search functionality.
Header - Major section overhaul, including the addition of two new mega menu styles, customisable badges and promos, and a call to action button.
Footer - major section overhaul now utilizes blocks for more flexibility than ever when customizing the layout. Also includes support for Follow on Shop link.
Product compare feature* - allow customers to make more informed purchasing decisions, and increase conversion rates, by comparing multiple products on the Collection and Search templates.
Breadcrumbs - can now be added to the Product, Collection, Collection list, Blog and Article templates.
Cart drawer and page - major design update including settings to display a free shipping indicator bar, and savings summary.
New settings in Theme Settings > Design - A host of additional or improved settings allowing greater control of various visual aspects of your store.
New settings in Theme Settings > Advanced - includes settings for store-wide image quality, customizable tab attention messages, and a custom HTML setting input.
Right to left (RTL) - text support has been added.
Section groups - add, remove and reorder multiple sections within easy to manage groups.

Fixes and improvements

All sections have been overhauled, containing new settings.
Performance based rewrite.
Improved accessibility in many areas across the theme.
Various SEO enhancements, such as being able to flexibly assign H1s within sections and templates.
Updates to Theme Settings > Colors, including three additional color schemes for use across various sections.
Theme Settings > Typography - heading and body fonts can now have their own letter spacing.
Theme Settings > Collection list - color settings added.
Theme Settings > Product cards - various additional settings, such as including the collection URL within the product page URL.
Theme Settings > Swatches - more granular control over swatch shapes and sizing across different theme sections and templates.
Theme Settings > Search - now uses the settings from Search & Discovery app.
Theme Settings > Socials - added support for Mastodon, Discord and Threads.
Theme Settings > Animations - can now be shown on mobile.
Text column with media section - is now called 'Multi-column'.
Text with icons section - is now called 'Icons with text'.
Newsletter section - is now called 'Email signup'.
Gallery section - is now called 'Media grid'.
Image with text overlay section - is now called 'Image banner'.

Removed

Social media links in announcement bar - have been removed.
Various sections - options for stylized image tints have been removed.
Collection list template - the 'Rows' layout option has been removed.
Blog template - 'Full width' layout option has been removed.
Map section - has been removed.
