I have been working with the North theme for a couple of years and it has been a constant fight. When I took a look at Dawn's code structure I knew that this was the end of the fight. Absolutely love this theme! Not so bare as Skeleton, but great stuff to work with and a great framework to build on without starting from scratch :)

The worst theme I have ever used! Come on Shopify, this is NOT good enough for your paying customers! If you want to use this for a store in ANY other languages than English, then stay well clear! A mess beyond belief to localise with Shopify's own Translate & Adapt app!

This update broke pages, took imagery and content out of them, changed fonts and misaligned my product pages. This is awful and costing me a ton of money and time. What the hell is this?!

I hate that every time there is an update occurs I have to figure out why my personalized products can no longer be personalized through the apps that are synced with my store. When an update happens it should be with ease; I am completely stressed out!

Hey there, app compatibility after theme updates is a real and understandable pain point. When a theme updates, apps that inject code into theme files sometimes need to be reconfigured. Sugar Hill Farmstead
The update has wiped 50% of my products from my store causing me to have go in and redo everything. I have quite a big catalogue of products and this is going to take hours of work. My site is currently useless as my most popular products are missing. Not happy at all with the update causing this issue-

Hey there, we're really sorry to hear this happened. A theme update shouldn't affect your products, they're stored separately in your admin. This sounds like it may be a display issue unless something happened within your admin that removed products, but again that isn't connected to your theme. Se ha quitado el footer de la pagina y no tiene vuelta atrás, faltan muchas opciones para hacer modificaciones y embellecer la pagina lo que hace necesario utilizar liquid que a la vez provocan problemas con este Tema. Estoy en encrucijada para arreglarlo y todo hay que pagar. te ofrecen asesores de ayuda...etc nada contenta con esto. Opción que dan EMPEZAR DE CERO

I've been using this theme for years now. It's user friendly and does the job! One note that's come up recently - it would be really helpful if a customer had to select their variant before being able to add to cart. Right now, a variant is selected by default, so if a customer is just quickly shopping they might miss that there are options to choose from. Not a big deal, just a small UX detail!

this is a great theme it works well for different applications and with a little know how the code can be customized to fit different needs, also the new speed updates are great, Ive used several free themes that were discontinued so i had to rebuild several sites on to this theme and i like it much more than previous themes i was using. Only bad reviews i see on this are mostly from incompetence.

I really have used this theme to the most of its ability. My buisness has grown a lot and it has done a great job for me overall. I feel only recently after years of using it am i finding some features id really like to have that arent there, like color swatches on the collections pages.
