Dawn runs flawlessly and fast for basic needs, yet it may fall short for boosting real-world sales. I personalized my site (www.funworld.gr) to get the most from it, but scaling generally calls for a paid theme and extra development. Truly successful sites built solely on Dawn without many developers are rare, though not impossible.

In this new update, the “shipping protection” option, which gave you the option to increase the AOV by a few cents, is no longer available. Why is every update worse ?
Hi, Shipping Protection is not something that is controlled by the theme - as it has no access to the Checkout or shipping process, just everything before that! This would be something within your admin such as an app or possibly the Shipping Insurance offered with Shopify Shipping labels. I've been using the Dawn theme for years, but recently, glitches have been bad. Customers can't see the correct color when selecting a variant from the dropdown. The "add to cart" button isn't working on some products, and the site appears thin on phones, not filling the screen.

I read through the negative reviews and a lot seem to center around not really understanding how to customize or set up the stores in markets or minor custom CSS changes. The theme has been fantastic for us and we have sold hundreds of thousands of dollars in product. We have used it for 3 completely different stores and themes selling different demographics and products. It's a good theme.

Dawn 15.3.0 adds pagination to the quick order list, updates settings labels, and introduces a few bug fixes.

- Quick order list paginates product variants, improving buyer experience for products containing many variants.
- Theme setting labels were updated across all surfaces to make them less crowded and easier to scan.
Fixes and improvements
- Fix issue where quick order list displayed the remove all button on small windows, even if no variants were in the cart.

- Fix issue where while in the theme editor, a modal wouldn’t be cleared once the section it belonged to was removed.
- Updated the account login link to use a nofollow attribute so that google doesn’t interpret it as spammy backlinking.
- Fix issue where the svg icon for the filters were not clickable.
