I strongly prefer the previous version of the store builder. It was much easier to build quickly. Please consider reverting to it.
Hey there, thank you for leaving your feedback. Our developers are always trying to improve upon our theme editor and attempt to give more control to merchants without needing to know Liquid code. They are still always looking to improve our product so we do appreciate hearing experiences from our merchants.
Ok for a basic theme. Lacks very basic customizable options. Here are a couple I ran into: 1. Many blocks cannot edit text display - size, font, format 2. No meta description available for pages - critical for SEO 3. Limited ability to add blocks to sections - shows no standard blocks available Heavily prefer the previous store builder version. Far easier to build quickly. Go back to it.
Hello, we understand the preference for the older theme editor style. One solution for your #2 concern is for Pages, you can select "Edit website SEO" within the admin page where you edit the page content. For #1, the Typography settings control font size across the entire theme to keep everything consistent, so you would need to use CSS or Liquid to change the font for a specific section alone.
