We love the Dawn Theme but are still on version 4.0.0 and we want to upgrade to the newest version 6.0.2 but are unable to without redoing every page and all the customizations. I see online that you can now transfer existing customization with the new Shopify update , but don't have that option. Shopify, please help???
Hey! If you are using a theme that has received code modifications, those modifications won't copy over. If you do not see the option at all to update your theme, please contact support so we can take a closer looks (https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA)
We love the Dawn theme however each time an update comes out we have to manually update each page/template. So we have add all the images back and sections. This is crazy! Please allow the updates to include the templates copied over
Hi, automatically copying over templates during theme updates is a good suggestion, please feel free to contact support to submit a Feature Request (https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA). Bear in mind that unless there is a specific feature that you want to use in the latest update, there is no need to update your theme
I was trying to test it and have a look! But i am still uncertain! i have some issues into coping some pages and add the delivery info. but it gets all screw the information!!!

We love Dawn theme, thank you! Just a question we can't update our current theme to 5.0. Is it crucial to update to 5.0 or is it okay to stay at 4.0? We have some code changes in our theme maybe the reason why we can't update.
Hello, thanks for your review! It is not necessary to update to Dawn 5.0.0 unless there is a specific feature that you want to use. Dawn 2.3.0 provides more customization power over the typography size of headings and body text across the theme. It also introduces a new setting on the image banner section to control its height on the page.
Added
- New heading and body font size settings found in your theme’s typography settings give you more control over the size of text across the theme.
- A new setting on the image banner section gives you more control over the height of the section on the page.

Dawn 2.2.0 introduces facet filtering to the search template and new customization options on the blog template.

- You’ll now find facet filtering on the search template, allowing buyers to filter their search results.
- We’ve added a setting to give you control over the featured image height of blog posts on the blog template.
- We’ve added support to display a product’s subscription status on the cart notification.

- We fixed an issue where the TikTok link was missing from the navigation menu drawer.
