The only thing good about this theme is the design. But links won't work every time you move to a new page. You have to reload the page to get ANY link to work. Talk about a poor user experience. And as others have said numerous times: updating the theme removes any code update you make. Shopify give some excuse about I don't know what (basically it's not their fault).
Hi, links should not require a page refresh, this behaviour may be due to a code change or an app script. Please open a ticket with support so that we can take another look. Note that if your theme code is modified, the option to update will not appear. When you update a theme, it installs a second copy of the theme with the updates without affecting the original theme.

Terrible! I am stuck on Dawn 5.0.0 because my home page, product pages, settings, etc. won't carry over.... I am so disappointed in how poor Shopify theme updates are. It should be like an iPhone where all settings carry over regardless of "code".... everything is code shopify! Please get on board with advanced technology. Bummer
Hello! If you do not see the option to update your theme, this indicates that your theme code has been modified (possibly by an app if you haven't done so yourself). Comparing Shopify themes to iPhones isn't viable, as iPhones do not allow you to change their base code. See https://bit.ly/3GYMc4w for more information on theme updates.

Version 2.5.0 - December 20, 2021
Dawn 2.5.0 introduces a new slideshow section and new settings to further customize existing sections like product information, image banner, and image with text.
Added
- The new slideshow section lets you display content in a slideshow format. Use it to feature promotions, or as an introduction to different collections.
- We’ve added new settings to the product template, letting you choose between stacked or thumbnail layouts for your product media on larger screens. You can also now control the size of the product media on product templates for larger screens.
- New content alignment settings were added to the image banner and email signup banner sections.
- The image with text section has a new content layout option which allows you to overlap the content and associated image for a unique look.
Version 2.4.0 - November 16, 2021
Dawn 2.4.0 introduces the ability to add links to the multicolumn section, and the ability to add an image to the email signup banner on the password page.
Added
- You can now add a link to each column block on the multicolumn section.
- Unit prices for each product line now appear on the cart page.
- The password page now includes the ability to add an image background to further customize the look of your store. By default, the background is composed of an illustration that includes your theme’s accent color.
Fixes and improvements
- We fixed an issue where the buttons on the image banner section were misaligned.
- We fixed an issue with cart error translations.
- We fixed an issue where the share functionality wasn’t reflecting the product’s variant.

Dawn 2.3.0 provides more customization power over the typography size of headings and body text across the theme. It also introduces a new setting on the image banner section to control its height on the page.
