Best theme to have, and also free! Love this so much!!
Hey there, we are so excited for you that Dawn is working super well for your business! Shopify definitely wants to give merchants the freedom to be able to set up a great online store without having to pay for a theme.

There is too many baked-in downsides, the fonts, the product zoom options, not at all brat
Hi, we appreciate that feedback. We look to always be improving on our 2.0 themes and what they offer. Hopefully, with new updates our themes can help with brat "autumn".

I like the Dawn theme for its clean, modern design and strong performance. However, I had issues with the vertical slider on the product page—selected variants didn’t add to the cart. Adding a vertical slider option that works seamlessly would make this theme even better. And size variant option as dropdown and color variation as swatches default in If you can add that then it would be great.

For variant swatches, you can use metafields (https://bit.ly/4gp5VKy) to implement this without using an app or custom code.

This new update seems to have been made out of hatred. Not working. Errors with Facebook, Google, PayPal and other payment platforms.

Dawn 15.2.0 provides a few fixes for known bugs and updates the styling for the new dynamic checkout buttons.
Changed
- Adjust the local selector dropdown to match the maximum width of its content.
- Adjust the styling for dynamic checkout buttons now that they’re using a new HTML structure.
Fixes and improvements
- Fix issue where while in the theme editor, a modal wouldn’t be cleared once the section it belonged to was removed.
- Updated the account login link to use a nofollow attribute so that google doesn’t interpret it as spammy backlinking.
- Fix issue where the svg icon for the filters were not clickable.
