Cool theme but the aspect ratio of the homepage graphics when it goes into mobile responsive view are awful. It is odd that they programmed this theme with terrible aspect ratio responsiveness but some of their other themes have great responsiveness. The theme has potential but until they fix the homepage issues this theme is not very useful for a professional business trying to compete.
This is a very powerful theme that with a little customization is very easy to optimize for search engines (huge selling point). Here's my implementation - www.usadelights.com - I'd buy it again and I'd recommend it for sure. The great thing about this company is that they care about your business and the quality of their work. As a SBO this is key for me and for you too I'm guessing.
I've set up multiple stores and tried dozens of themes. This one is feature-rich and does almost everything I want OOTB. What is really outstanding is the support. Even before I purchased the theme, the support team was top-notch with questions and hands-on help. Great developers.

This is my 4th website in Shopif. Now I bought the Empire theme. Fantastic. The theme is full of incredible features. I feel like a hero myself. (Claire, Hiro :) Try it once. Do not look for another exit.
We have multiple well-established stores and have recently migrated two to the Empire theme. Implementation was straightforward and the response from Robert in support to the minor glitches that came up was both quick and thoughtful. Feedback thus far from customers and staff has been very positive. Plans to migrate a third store to this theme soon.
I bought the Empire theme over a week a ago and it is very easy to customize and looks fantastic. I bought this theme because of the mega menu and I liked the quick links to products.. I wanted to install trust seals and I contacted support to ask how I could do this. Kate got back to me and tried different areas until I was happy. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Kate for all the support. :)
Kate has been so helpful. I am not Tech Savvy at ALL! So when I downloaded this theme I was automatically worried I wouldn't know how to use it. They helped me step by step create my store EXACTLY the way I wanted it. I plan to use Kate and the Pixel Union Team for a long time :)

After custom developing my last web site, I was skeptical of a complete solution for $180. It turns out my fear was completely unfounded! The Empire theme is extremely powerful. It allowed me to build a state-of-the-art site in just weeks! Best of all, I made no compromises. Anytime something wasn't pixel perfect, Pixel Union staff found a solution. I'm amazed! BTW - documentation is excellent.
