The Empire Theme is amazing. I have never built an online store before but the way the Theme is structured it made things very easy to build. I had a major issue building my Shopify store and I reached out to Shopify and Pixel Union (Empire Theme) tech support. Turned out it was a Shopify issue not Empire theme but they helped me through the issue anyways. 10/10 customer support.
I have been using Pixel Union's Empire theme since I first landed at Shopify (5 or 6 years ago). I like how clean and professional it looks. Pixel Union does a great job of keeping their themes up to date, so my money was well spent all those years ago. When I need help, I've never had anything but a good (and fast) experience when dealing with their support team.
Excellent, robust and design-friendly theme. Coming from a background of drag-and-drop WordPress design, Empire theme was a really easy transition. Support is efficient and responsive. Very happy. Worth the price.

Empire 9.0.0 introduces Section groups, updates to the Predictive search feature, and a new theme setting to show the "Continue shopping" button on the product compare page, as well as several bug fixes.
