Emporium 2.2.0 adds support for complementary product recommendations and focal points.
Added
- Added a section, Complementary products. Available on the Product template, this section displays complementary products set up with the Shopify Search & Discovery app.
- Added support for focal points on multiple sections.
- Added settings to add custom code to every page of your online store. Using these settings helps keep your theme available for automatic updates.

With Emporium 2.1.0, you can now collect customization information for products. For example, you could let customers add special messages to products, offer mix-and-match selection boxes, or highlight optional product extras.
Added
- Added 5 block types to the Featured product and Product sections: Custom field – Checkbox, Custom field – Drop-down, Custom field – Multi-line text, Custom field – Number, and Custom field – Text. Custom fields, also known as line item properties, let you collect customization information for products.
- Added a template, product.customizable.json.
- Added a setting to disable the cart drawer.
- Added the ability to set the aspect ratio of product media to Natural in the predictive search panel.
- Added the ability to set the aspect ratio of product media to Natural in the Featured product and Product sections.
- Added more alignment options to the Newsletter section.
- Added a preset, Fruity.
