This is a great Theme, with a lot of functionality, really cool design, and easy to modify templates, when needed. I had to contact support for assistance with a problem, and while the responses and fix took a little while (it appears there is a 12h time difference between them and the US), they were able to quickly determine the cause and fix it in a reasonable amount of time.
Today (again) i found out a cool way how i can customize my product page. Focal is so incredibly flexible regarding available sections. I just love it! And the support helps fast!
We're super happy with this theme and can highly recommend it. It also works very well and the few compatibility hiccups we have come across have been dealt with extremely quick and professional.
Changing a Sad Face to Happy Face, as Maestrooo actually went above and beyond to help us. Literally miles better than Shopify Support, who we lost days of time communicating with for no reason/help at all.
We're sorry to hear you're having a painful experience here. Unfortunately, the upgrade process is entirely managed by Shopify and not part of us. However, upgrading is completely optional, and your store remains fully functional even if you do not upgrade. I have gave more information in the email you sent to us.

- The "product recommendations" section has been renamed to "Related products" to better reflect its intent.
Fixed
- The collection image for the collection banner section will no longer be cropped on mobile if the "Original aspect ratio" is selected.
- Fixed an issue where heading/subheading would not show up on top of the "Video" section when using the autoplay option in non-boxed mode.

- Removed the global "Empty cart link", which was actually doing nothing (the link can be controlled directly in the cart section or cart drawer section).

- Important: the complementary product block on main product page now relies on the Shopify built-in complementary product feature ([learn more](https://help.shopify. com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/product-recommendations#complementary-products)). If you have already configured manual recommendations, either manually in the theme editor or through a product list metafield, you will need to re-configure them in the Shopify Search & Discovery app. This change has been introduced by Shopify to ensure easier upgrade in the future as the information will now be stored on the platform side rather than the theme side.
Removed
- The "product_list" setting in the "Product recommendations" section has been removed. To manually select product recommendations, you must now use the [Shopify Search & Discover app].
