One major improvement would be allowing users to customize settings separately for desktop and mobile devices. For example, it would be great if we could make the product page background transparent on mobile but keep it solid on desktop, or the other way around The same goes for padding—being able to control spacing individually for mobile and desktop views would be incredibly helpful.

The theme is pretty good in general and I love the AI BLOCKS. it feels modern and up to date. My only consideration for future updates would be to make it load faster. it feels way slower than DAWN. besides that, it's a pretty good theme.

Probably not quite finished or ready for release, several features the help file says it has are lacking (restock notification, scheduled gift card sending, etc). Very promising though and looking to watch for future updates

Great theme but I’d love to see the “Blogs” section added back in. Also, it would be fantastic if product image thumbnails could be displayed not only on desktop, but also on mobile view — similar to how it works in the Dawn theme.

It’s hard to expect too much from a free theme — but the lack of a blog feature is a serious drawback. Blogging is a crucial tool for building organic traffic and engaging customers, and unfortunately, this theme doesn’t support it at all. That’s a big miss, even for a free option.

Hey there, we appreciate you sharing this. Our developers are aware of there being no section for Blog Posts and are actively working looking into it. You can keep track of any updates made to Horizon through the "Support and Documentation" tab on this page, as it may be something that's added in the near future (or added capability to the Custom Section rather than a Blog Section on its own).

Very interesting indeed, I think the AI blocks are an interesting concept. It would be good to get some more information around how closest.product works with relation to custom liquid modules (given a lot of custom blocks refer to that), or event a custom liquid block that can refer to a closest.product. Would really like to see some versions on this, as without the GitHub a issue log

Hi, we are so glad to hear your thoughts on the new launch! Horizon will eventually be the default theme that will replace Dawn, but we will always support Dawn and the other 2.0 themes. Right now you can also still download our 2.0 themes (such as Dawn) as well as Theme Block themes (such as Horizon) on the Shopify Theme Store (https://bit.ly/3wmxf6A).
