Horizon

Hi, nice theme so far, but I see from the feature list that Quick View is available, but I cannot locate it. UPDATE: Shopify support sent me a note pointing out how to add the Quick Add button to the theme, but I was after the Quick view overlay, not the Quick Add button. So haven't found Quick View yet.

Great customization for a free theme. Has significantly improved the look and function of our store. However I do think the theme could benefit from some more features like a VAT pricing toggle for the customer, or a SKU display that changes when a new variant is selected. I also think that the theme would benefit from a slideshow hero that has the same customization as the others.

Shows promise but still no strikethrough button in Editor text fields. UPDATE: Support staff from your link also say there's no way unless hacking the RTE. Communicating value is key for Ecom and strikethrough is a compact way of doing it, especially on mobile. When on sale, strikethrough is mandatory for headlines and copy, not just collection/product prices. How can this be missing on Shopify?

Great upgrade from Dawn theme, with a lot of customization. One thing needs to be fixed ASAP, is placeholder image for products with no images both in product cards and product pages. Edit: Editing the ratings, since it's been 8 months since I posted this.

Horizon Will be the best free theme in the future, just need some more work in the product page description it's too narrow and not good at all, if it's look like dawn or studio will be better I give 8/10 because I can not use Horizon now because of that problem, If solved then yes.

I have tried Dawn which is now being replaced by Horizon and Horizon has more features than Dawn and there is swatches too ,pagination. Page layout, header announcement bar is much better than Dawn. I am now using horizon for my ecommerce website and I noticed a lot that Dawn doesn't have and can't wait for more features from Horizon. I 100% recommend this theme for it's easy for navigation too.

Great theme with tons of customization and built-in features. Early versions were a bit buggy, but version 2.0 fixed major issues — no more layout shifts or visual glitches, and animations now work consistently. Feels polished, stable, and truly production-ready. One of the most powerful and aesthetically pleasing themes out there!

It's so impenetrable to code on top of / customize ! :(

Posting a positive review to challenge the negative ones, this is a new theme that's still being heavily worked on so obviously will have some bugs to start out with. Instead of posting a negative review, just wait a little while for the developers to smooth some of the bugs out and improve the theme. The vision is there, they just need some time to implement it properly. Keep up the good work! :)

I think the idea behind the theme is ok - but WHY would you remove the option to use repeatable blocks? There's problems all over thanks to this change. When you add a dynamic metaobject source to a section now, it seems to completely alter the json running the section settings and inputs and lets it be dictated all the way and entirely by the metaobject inputs. It's super frustrating!
