Yes. I have been using it for many months. Everything is too slow. Developer they say due to the image. I have removed all images and new setup. But nothing fixed. Experts refuse to support optimization with Impact theme??? WHY. I'm tired of paying $350 to get angry in return. My client complains about it too. Maybe you should consider buying it. I know this theme is pretty nice.

Honestly, it is one of the worst templates that I have bought for years. There are huge problems with the template. The template is very, very, very slow. It has many wrong codes. There is a big delay in opening pages. While customers are browsing, it does a refresh on its own. Please contact us from the administration to solve this problem that we were unable to solve. We're sorry to hear you're running into issues here. However, as we explained at support, the issue here is not due to the theme, but to apps/third-party scripts you are using that are delaying your store loading in some countries (for us it loads fast here). You will therefore need to inspect all the apps / custom code you have to find the root cause of this.

Great theme with stellar support! BUT PLEASE would you consider adding a bit of logic to your upsells? It's not a good user experience to add a product from the upsell and have the product still being shown in the cart upsell as if nothing has happened.. It should also disappear from the product page upsell as soon as it has been added to the cart, and not only after the customer reloads page.
We're happy to announce that as for the version 4.4.0 (which should be released on September, 21st 2023), products already in the cart will be hidden from recommendations. Thanks for your feedback! If you have not edited your theme code, you will be able to automatically upgrade when the new version is released.

Great theme, been loving it so far! One feature I am in dire need of is the ability for the before/after image slider to display different photos on mobile than on desktop (just like how it's possible with banner images, too). Horizontal images work great on desktop but aren't impactful enough on mobile - for that, vertical images would be a lot better. Hope they're going to add it!

- We have simplified how Shopify Functions validation messages appear in cart and drawer to make them slightly less proeminent.
- Ensure that gift card recipient email length can't exceed 138 characters (which is a limit enforced by Shopify).
Developers
- Impact now includes several theme blocks as part of the code. Theme blocks are a new Shopify feature that allows reusable Liquid components within sections and enables nesting. However, migrating existing sections to theme blocks isn't currently feasible for existing themes, as this would be a breaking change that would break existing stores. While Shopify has yet to announce any migration tools, we've introduced a set of foundational theme blocks in Impact. This update empowers developers, agencies, and technical merchants to build custom sections more efficiently by leveraging pre-defined blocks that integrate seamlessly with the theme's code and design. This release includes the following foundational theme blocks: accordion, button, button group, heading, icon, Liquid code, rich text, page content, image, video, and badge.

- We have improved support for Shopify Function validations. If you have cart rules enabled, the error messages will now appear in the cart.
Added
- You can now add app blocks in the Footer section. This make it easier to use apps like Shopify Forms to embed custom form in the footer. Please note though that most apps are not meant to be embedded in the footer, it is therefore the merchant's responsability to judge which apps make sense to be embedded in a footer context.
Changed
- On January 2025, Shopify will deprecate a lot of fonts. As a consequence of this change, themes are required to no longer use deprecated fonts. All our presets were using fonts that are now deprecated, so we replaced them by other fonts. Merchants who are using a deprecated font will be notified by Shopify and have a recommended alternative.
Fixed
- Fixed a RTL (right to left languages) issue related to popovers.
- Fixed a RTL (right to left languages) issue on the timeline section, where the content was displayed in the incorrect direction.
- Fixed an edge case with the "Hide on scroll" setting enabled in the header combined with a sticky header and sticky announcement bar, where the header could end up being invisible if the user scrolls down then scrolls up back to the top of the page in less than 150ms interval.
