We have 1500 products which are not easy to handle. Local made our store very fast and super nice for our customers. We do love it very much! Great customer support as well
My experience with Adi and the KnownThemes "Local" theme itself has been exactly what I wanted. High quality, attention to detail, frequent enhancements and fast turn-around of questions and issues. Recommended for storefronts that run a business, not a hobby.
I am very happy with this template! I currently use it on my site https://tableromagico.cl/ after trying different themes I have decided to stay with this one because of its minimalism, its speed, cleanliness and excellent design. Tech support is 10/10. I contacted them because I wanted to see some changes in buttons and they answered me very quickly giving me the solution. I recommend them 100%!!
Sadly the theme hasn't lived up to my expectations. I hired 2 Shopify experts who couldn't resolve the speed issues. Was hoping the devs could resolve it, but unfortunately not. Conversion died due to customers leaving with slow speed. Changed back to my old theme, and right away sales started flowing back in. The support's been quick and helpful, but unable to fix the speed.
We are very sorry that you had issues with the theme! We always develop our themes with speed in mind, putting a lot of effort in delivering the best results but when custom codes and lots of third party apps are added, these will impact the site loading time.
