A reactive support team to help with small details
I purchased the Pacific theme recently and needed help with some customizations. I was put in touch with Declan who helped me through the process to get up and running in quickly. Directions were clear, simple, and he was there for follow up questions as well. Having someone there to help, and relatively quickly, is what makes purchasing a theme worth it instead of picking from the free ones.
Very frustrated. The Pacific theme does NOT support partial word searches. We have a product called "Apothecary Gift Box." If a customer searches for "apoth," they get a misleading message saying "We were unable to find any items containing apoth." Expecting customers to know database query strings, Pixel Union's support about this issue were not at all helpful.

The search feature in Pacific relies on the platform's built-in search functionality, rather than a theme-specific implementation. Please get in touch with our support team if you'd us to recommend some apps that can extend the search features of themes on Shopify (or if there's anything else we can help you with!).
We're so happy with Pacific Theme! It's clean natural state was the perfect template to build our store in, and the room we have to grow within it makes it well worth it. More importantly, the support we've received from Norm at Pixel Union every step of the way has not only helped us solved all of our questions, but made the process that much more enjoyable. It's like having a true partner! 10/10
