• Support for native color swatches has been added. You can now directly specify color swatch for product options right from Shopify admin. For compatibility reason, the old system can still be used, but merchants are encouraged to migrate to the new system.

[BREAKING CHANGE 1] If you are using the "Product variations" feature (which allows to link different products on the same product page), it might stop showing variations on the new version, due to the renaming of some settings. To fix the issue, you will need to go back to the "Product variations" block and re-select the desired option style.

• Added support for the new "Empty values" setting in the Search & Discovery app. This new setting allows you to choose how filter values with no matching products are shown in your store.

[BREAKING CHANGE] As a consequence of this change, the Show empty filter values setting in the Collection template has been removed. Merchants who wish to control how empty filter values are treated must configure it in the app after upgrading their theme.
