that have been reported to us on the new version.
Added
The "Collapsible text" block in product page now has a new "Page" setting to allow to pull content from an
existing page.
The rich text section now accepts a new "right" alignment for the text, in addition to previous "left" and
"center" alignments.
Image on multi-column section is now clickable if the "Link URL" setting is filled.
The cart icon available in older versions have been re-added. You can now choose among 4 different cart icons in
the general settings.
Improved
Video section has been slightly optimized when in autoplay mode, by preventing an extra image to be loaded.
Spacing between two consecutive buttons on Rich text section.
The header icon size has been slightly increased on mobile.

Fixed an issue where mega-menu would not render properly if open when the search is also open.

The countdown timer would show an error if the expiration date would be more than 99 days. The maximum number is
still 99 days (so you should limit the expiration date) but in the case you would do it, the theme would no longer

Added
Video section: take advantage of native MP4 video with a brand-new video section. Show video with sound, or use
autoplay to create more immersive experience. The Prestige video section uses a very powerful lazy-loading system
to ensure that videos are only loaded on demand, to limit the impact of performance.
Multi-column section: creates complex page content by using a powerful and configurable multi-column section. Use
video or image to explain your products or brand to your customers.
Media grid section: create a unique grid of picture or video, and control the number of columns or rows for each
image. With this powerful feature, you can now create a store that will look like no other.
Before/after section: show a before/after section to help your customers to see the benefit of your product.
Upload a different image on mobile or desktop to provide the best experience to every of your customers.
Scrolling content: share some important information or your brand information using a big scrolling content.
Images with text scroll: create an immersive, full width experience to show your customers text associated with
images.
Multiple images with overlap: impress your customers with a new section allowing you to create a unique collage of
pictures.
Tabs section: if you need to write a lot of content to explain the benefits of your products or your brand, you can
now take advantage of this section, and pull content from metafield or pages.
Logo list: now show a list of logos.
Text with icons: create trust by using a text with icons section. This is ideal to add before a footer, for instance.
Countdown: you can now add a countdown section (either in the header with a compact countdown section or in your
pages with a bigger countdown section). This can be used to promote temporary offers and create some urgency.
Privacy banner: comply with GDPR and CCPA laws by using a privacy banner that integrates with the native cookies
and data collection feature of Shopify.
Quick view: you can now preview a product without leaving a listing page thanks to the new quick view feature.
Section group support: re-order sections even inside the header, or add sections easily in the footer group to
have global sections visible on every pages, without having to duplicate the content.
Focal point support: for sections cropping images, you can now control the focal point in the theme editor and
have this being reflected in the theme.
Add support for "gift card recipients": on gift card products, you can now allow your customers to leave a message
and an email to whom the gift card is sent.
Add support for "Follow on Shop" button: if your store have Shop Pay enabled, you can now display a "Follow on Shop"
button in your footer.
Improved
The "slideshow" section now supports MP4 video to create an immersive experience. You can also allow your users to
unmute the video. You can combine video and images.
The FAQ and contact sections can now be added everywhere, including product or collection pages.
Most of the sections using images will no longer crop images by default. This means that your images are displayed
the way you upload them.
Improved product pages: the product page now comes with a lot of new blocks to allow you to create much richer
product pages. You can, among others, add button, links, rich text content, modal, text with icons or even capture
extra product attributes with line item properties.
Improved product selectors: the theme now allows you to hide or strike-through sold out variants.
Improved rich text section: the previous "Image with text" section has been split into two different sections for
greater control. The new "Rich text" section allows you to easily write rich content and mix it with images,
buttons or even videos.
Improved testimonials: the testimonial section now allows you to add not only an image, but also an author name,
so that you can better convey what customers or influencers say about your products.
Improved featured collections: you can now feature up to 5 collections inside a featured collections section.
While, for best user experience, we still recommend you to limit to 2 collections, you now have the flexibility to
use more.
Improved typography: you can now control the letter spacing of heading or body text individually, or control the
font size with much more flexibility.
Improved predictive search: the theme can now show suggestions, products, blog posts, pages and collections using a
new, redesigned search.
Improved customer account pages: the order page now shows more information such as tracking number or refund you
have issued. This helps to reduce friction between what your customers see on their account pages and what you
have on your admin.
New menu: the sidebar menu on mobile has been completely re-designed to be more modern and powerful. Mega menu
will now also show on mobile.
New animations: all the animations have been tuned and modernized so that your store looks as beautiful as possible.
RTL support: the theme now supports out of the box RTL languages (such as Arabic or Hebrew), without the need for
any extra customizations.
Improved Japanese support: Japanese users will now have a localized experience adapted to their needs. For
instance, first name and last name orders are reversed, and address forms are adapted to Japan market.
Improved cross-border: a new country selector has been added on mobile to allow your customers to more easily
change their preferred language.
Improved header: we have redesigned the icons to make them more modern. You can now choose among three different
icons for the cart, to adjust the theme to your brand.
Improved navigation: we have added a new navigation mode allowing you to align your logo on the left, and the
navigation in the middle.
Improved footer: you can now add an image (such as your store logo) in the footer, without any customization.
More section settings: most of the existing sections have been re-organized, and we added many new settings to
most of the sections to allow you to do more with fewer apps.
Spacing improvements: you can now control the spacing between each section, or control if they must be separated
by a border or not. The theme also uses more consistent spacing across the theme to ensure that the experience is
consistent on every page.
Button improvements: easily create rounded buttons to make the theme fit to your brand.
Finer icon control: you can now choose the thickness of your icons. Use fatter icons to create a bold website, or
thin icons for a subtle, luxury looks.
Accessibility improvements: to make sure that all users can benefit from an optimal experience, we have done a lot
of accessibility improvements to ensure the whole theme can be used with keyboard and screen-readers.
Color changes: the colors of our main demo has been slightly changed (some buttons are now darker) to improve
accessibility.
Added support for more languages: the theme is now pre-translated to 28 languages (for the storefront only). This
means you can now add multi-language to your store much faster.
Added support for French theme settings: in addition to English, all the theme settings in the theme editor are now
also available in French.
Updated presets: all our presets have been updated and modernized to use different set of fonts.
Performance improvement: despite offering more features, the theme now ships 25% less CSS and 25% less JavaScript.
This means faster website and happier customers.
Code quality: we have put everything we have learned those last five years into this new version. The theme will
now be even more stable than before, and third-party code (such as apps) have way less probability to break the theme.
Developer friendly: this new version of Prestige now uses the same modern, JavaScript module-based approach that
we have introduced in our previous theme. You can now re-use and extend the theme built-in functionalities without
having to touch the original code.
... and more! We have added a lot of extra features here and there that we will let you discover. But, more
importantly, this new version is now using our more advanced and modern theme architecture, which means we will be
able to add new features faster, without impacting performance or accessibility.
Removed
As for all our newer themes, we are dropping support for all versions of Internet Explorer as well as older
versions of iOS. Our themes support the latest three versions of each browser (iOS14+, Chrome 108+, Edge 108+,
Firefox 106+).
Due to upcoming restrictions enforced by Google, the map section has been removed as it won't be possible in the
near future to embed map in a theme. To show a map or store information, you are encouraged to use a dedicated
store locator app from the app store, or use a "Custom Liquid" section.
The "Custom HTML" section has been removed. You can use instead the "Custom Liquid" section, which allows you to
add your own custom HTML code but also to take advantage of all the power of Liquid language.

Important: the complementary product block on main product page now relies on the Shopify built-in complementary
product feature ([learn more](https://help.shopify.
com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/product-recommendations#complementary-products)). If you have
already configured manual recommendations, either manually in the theme editor or through a product list metafield,
you will need to re-configure them in the Shopify Search & Discovery app. This change has been introduced by
Shopify to ensure easier upgrade in the future as the information will now be stored on the platform side rather
than the theme side.
Removed
The "product_list" setting in the "Product recommendations" section has been removed. To manually select product
