Makes sense why the update allows applying themes to specific components, but at least leave it reverse compatible from previous updates to make it less confusing. BTW to people having trouble changing the background color -- try changing Scheme 1 background to the color you want and remove background gradient.
The new settings for color schemes do function differently, but we believe they offer increased intuitiveness and flexibility for customization overall. Every update presents new challenges and questions. What does this mean? "To preview your changes, color schemes must be defined in settings_data and settings_schema files." Why wouldn't the existing color schemes automatically transfer to the new version?

I like the theme but the update keeps failing. I am on sense 8.0 and have made some customizations but the update failure doesn't tell me what is incompatible with the new update.

This update also features fixes and improvements, including a fix ensuring the correct product details display in the cart notification.
