This is the first Shopify store I've tried to put together and decided to use the ShowTime theme. Overall I've had a pretty easy time getting things set up the way I wanted. I did run into a couple things that the theme wasn't able to accommodate natively so I contacted support and they were able to get it working perfectly. Very happy and will definitely consider using this theme again.
As a newbie to the ecommerce i found this theme extremely easy to navigate and personalize, eventually i ran into some issues for the more complicated areas but the team at shopify followed by the team at mile high themes managed to sort all my issues within a couple of emails.
We've been running an older version of Showtime, but we're now excited to be upgrading to the latest version. Support has been excellent and reasonable priced!
The Theme itself is a great base to start from for a large catalog where search is important. The team were relentless in helping us with some customizations that were needed to connect with our ERP so that it would render well. Cannot thank Nick and the team enough, absolutely recommend, the best CS I have had from a developer in a very long time.
- Removed limit to product upsells on product pages
- Improved UX for filters sidebar on collection pages
- Added support for hosted videos on video related sections
- Added ability to display total price with upsell products on product pages
- Added support for section groups
- Added color options for the Rich text section
- Added ability to display upsells within cart drawer
- Fixed contained slideshow display for iOS devices
- Fixed issue where navigation would sometimes overlap the search bar
- Added support for Query suggestions and Predictive search (Shopify requirement)
- Added mouse hover indication for sub-menus for the main navigation
- Added ability to add any section to cutomer pages
- Added alignment and icon color options to the Trust icons section
- Added ability to customize titles within Collection list section
- Fixed tabs position for the Featured collection tabs section on mobile devices
- Fixed issue with blog arctile page sharing links
- Fixed display issues with the promo banner when longer text strings are used
- Fixed internalization issue with the cart
- Fixed stacked columns option for the Gallery popup section
- Enabled interactivity for product grid color swatches
- Added ability to add payment methods to footer
- Added countdown to promotion banner
- Complimentary (buy with) products will no longer be hidden when product is out of stock
- Fixed bug with featured product section gallery
- Improved merchant UX for collection list header navigation block
