Really easy and simple to use, I like it! one problem is, I'm unable to add more than 3 menu items. when I create more menu items it loads all products on the pages and no way to remove them without it removing the items from the other page. If I could add more menu items this theme would be perfect for my small business.

It's possible that since this is a theme set up to be much simpler than the others, that there is some settings that need to be adjusted in order to get more than 3 menu items. I almost quit everything... is it me or we don't have a straightforward way to edit the Header Text? Unless you are doing exactly what the theme is selling move on, it will frustrate the hell out of you. My product is a bit larger for viewing purposes and changes the entire look and flow of the site... could be awesome for selling athletic shoes.

Hello, thanks for the review and we appreciate the feedback. Spotlight was definitely structured to be a much simpler and straightforward type of theme for smaller inventories - but all of our free 2.0 themes have the same internal code. This means that you can add all the same features, blocks and sections as you see in the examples for other Shopify Free themes. You can always build up on them!

For a free theme there is not much to complain about. They release updates frequently as well. There are a few things that need to be added such as adding announcement bars and allowing the option to choose both a desktop and mobile version of images for things such as the slide show. I have paid for a few hundred dollar themes the past few years and I end up using the free theme from Shopify!

My Store
When I have a product with more than one color isn't it possible to display the images of the colours that the user selects? at this moment all images are displaying at the same time, disregarding the colour that I select. Help? :)

Hey there, this doesn't sound like expected behaviour to us. If you have each variant connected to the specific image in the admin, it should show the variant's image when it's selected on the theme. If you have this set up correctly in the product page in the admin please contact our Support (https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA) so we can see why this is happening.

We need more options to customise with colour schemes. there are sections such as the login page for accounts that still can't be customised at all :( We're also unable to edit the colour scheme of any privacy policies, terms of service, contact info etc. Update: solved, thank you

Hello, this is definitely easy color settings to miss! The customer pages all follow the settings from the Color Scheme 1 and this is the same case for all Pages. You can add other sections to pages utilizing different color schemes, but the main portion always takes from the first color scheme. I really like this theme because you can go anywhere with it being so basic. This is my first shopify store at fellowstranger.com and I've been able to heavily customize it to suit the aesthetic of my shop - it took a lot of time and effort but it's worth it. It's great for someone just starting out at customizations but can't invest in a really nice plug and play style yet.

Hello, be sure to set up your navigation and menus by following the directions on this page here (https://bit.ly/3MvfM45). A mega menu is having dropdowns that go several layers down, such as having a dropdown within a dropdown. This is not something you can edit within the theme editor, but must be set up in the Navigation section of the admin!
