The Symmetry theme has been a joy to use. It’s intuitive, flexible, and actually fun to build a store with. Everything feels well thought out, and the support has been outstanding whenever we needed help. Huge thanks to the Clean Canvas team for such a brilliant overall experience!
This theme is not customizable at all. The paddings are all off. It updates constantly and every time it does something gets screwed up. Not user friendly what so ever. For $400 VERY disappointed :(
Hi Resolute Racing Shop. While we appreciate all feedback, this is one of the most advanced and well designed themes in the store that has been used on over 40K stores worldwide. Themes on the store have strong design systems in order to help GTM quickly and SYMMETRY has lots of configurable options. Code customisations need specialists as attempting this without knowledge will break things.

There is no paid customization support option from the company. They tell customers to go elsewhere.

We bought multiple Clean Canvas themes, but the Product List block is very limited—only Card or Image layouts, no swatch or text size display. For stores listing sizes/colors as separate products, this restricts flexibility. Despite feedback over a year ago, no real updates were made. Basic features still need custom work, adding cost and time.
Hi EVERSilk - Thanks for the feedback. As Shopify doesn’t support this natively, we offer this product list block as a custom feature. Adding deeper options like swatches/size text is problematic without platform-level support. We aim to offer flexibility, but some requests require Shopify to expand native tooling, without that, we are limited in what is possible. Wishing you every success!

We rated this theme highly about five years ago after testing dozens of themes across our Middle East sites, but it has not evolved enough since. It still lacks a mobile quick-buy button, a feature studies have shown can lift conversions by around 30%. It may suit catalog-style stores more than mobile-first ecommerce.

Symmetry has been continuously developed for many years with regular free updates, and a dedicated mobile quick-purchase button is already planned for an upcoming release to further enhance shopping on mobile.
