I was firstly very frustrated with a third-party app not working as I was told it would do with this theme, (I was assured by the 3rd part app that it worked perfectly fine with symmetry theme), and it did not. However, I got a great customer service response from the theme developer making me understand the issue better. It's a great looking theme, suitable for my products and brand.
Hi SapphicStudio. We're sorry to hear about your frustration. The issues you’re experiencing stem from the app's integration, not the theme itself. Both Shopify and Gelato provided incorrect assurances. App developers are responsible for ensuring compatibility with themes. Please contact Gelato to address these issues, as leaving a review here won’t help resolve them as we cannot fix a broken app.
We purchased this theme and made modifications. When we went to add a wholesale store, we found out the theme does not support many Shopify features (combined listings, catalogs, etc), even though the theme listing says "Works with the latest Shopify features". Poor support. Were pretty much told, too bad.
Thank you for your feedback. While combined listings aren't supported yet as we’re waiting on Shopify to resolve known issues with the feature, we do support catalogs and other key Shopify features. I love this theme! I've used it for over 2 years and it still looks great. Recently I feared an issue somewhere (I wasn't sure if it was theme or app related) so reached out to Clean Canvas and was promptly assisted by Victoria. Thankfully the issue wasn't related to the theme but the support I received was great, fast and efficient. Much appreciated - highly recommend this company and theme!
