We have removed all code references to Shopifys product reviews app which will cease functioning on May 6th 2024. Follow Shopifys documentation to migrate to another app.
Removed
- We have removed all code associated with the Shopify reviews app as part of a mandatory Shopify update.
- We removed an unused sidebar setting from the main collection section.
Added
- We added translations to the scroll up button.
- We added a checkbox to the gift card section allowing merchants to hide or show the QR code.
- We added an image setting to the gift card section allowing merchants to upload a preferred gift card image.
- We added a checkbox to the announcement bar section making social icons optional.
- We added a range indicator to the product and featured product sections.
- We added a checkbox to the footer section which allows store policies to be enabled / disabled.
- We added visual and functionality improvements to the Cookie consent popup.
- We added a setting to autoplay product videos wihin the product grid.
- We added a background image option to the countdown section.
- We added a countdown block to the product and featured product sections.
Fixes and other improvements
- We fixed the button colors in the Image with Text section.
- We fixed the product carousel's "click to enlarge" button from showing the wrong carousel image.
- We fixed an incorrect German translation for "from".
- We fixed an issue with dropdown arrows in the main collection section sidebar which allows them to be clickable to expand and collapse content.
- We fixed an issue within the recently viewed section which prevents product titles from being translated.
- We fixed an issue where the first level drop down navigation menus can appear off screen if too close to the edge of the browser.
- We fixed an issue with structured data that caused validation errors when using Euro currency.
- We fixed a missing visual indicator for product line item customization fields.
- We fixed missing custom liquid blocks from product and featured product sections.
- We fixed a missing cart translation for "or" where additional payment methods are presented.
- We fixed an issue with button text vertical alignment.
- We changed the shopping cart free shipping calculator to be disabled at first install.
- We updated the grid framework in the footer section to maintain a consistent content width to other theme sections.
- We made some minor changes to the language and currency selectors in the header and footer to improve their visual appearance.
