We’ve added some performance enhancements to theme sections along with some small improvements and fixes for bugs that have been found in theme support.
Added
- We added support for metaobject swatches.
- We added the fetchpriority attribute to first section images to increase performance of page speed LCP.
- We added a new parallax image wipe section with image blocks that stick until scrolled over by a sibling or other section.
- We added the country flag to the announcement bar country/region selector.
- We added support for the new "AND" filter operator.
- We added an optional product block to show payment icons.
- We added an announcement carousel section.
Changed
- We changed the Twitter icon in the theme's social icons.
- We changed all the existing text alignment settings to use the new text alignment input which adds left, center and right alignment support.
- We changed the newsletter popup to show on mobile.
- We changed the text with icons section to include a size range and optional left layout.
Removed
- We removed the breadcrumb section being added by default across templates.
Fixes and improvements
- We fixed the Mailing Popup not closing when clicking the close button.
- We fixed an issue where having multiple size charts on a single page will always only show the popup for the first size chart.
- We fixed an issue with the Quick Add to Cart was not working.
- We fixed the vendor being removed when filtering in a vendor collection.
- We updated the themes stylesheet to comply with Shopify minifaction requirements.
- We fixed an issue with the Theme Header not sticking when the Announcement Bar is disabled.
- We fixed an issue where the Quick Add feature was not working in the Recently Viewed section.
- We fixed missing translations for the theme "or" found on customer login and cart templates.
- We fixed an issue that prevented pagination from appearing within customer order history.
