Core functionality in this theme is broken. The compare at price features just don’t work and the theme support are intentionally obtuse and refuse to help. Buyer beware. Don’t trust the fake reviews.
I would suggest re-installing the theme. As you said, it is a core functionality and it is working for all other customers.
Bought the same $360 theme twice for two of my stores because the demo dazzled. Both installs hit 300 + requests, ~almost 1 MB of errors. Shared Pingdom waterfalls; support said “hire a dev.” No patch, no assist no refund . Eye-candy code, crippling bloat, zero help.
We are only responsible for theme-related issues. Not every request is made by the theme. You have 3rd party scripts and apps that also make requests.
Paid $350 for this theme. Gorgeous demo, but real pages fire 300 + requests and ~1 MB errors, ballooning payload to 3 MB and 6 s mobile load on 4G. Sent Pingdom waterfalls; reply was “hire a developer.” No fix, no help. Pretty visuals can’t hide bloated, broken code or absent support.

I am an old user of Vision templates. This is the thirteenth store I have purchased. It is easy to get started and has detailed user manuals. You can also contact official personnel to solve any doubts, so I recommend using Vision
