This just in: the Foodie theme isn't just for foodies! I'm really happy I found this theme which has more out of the box bells and whistles and design templates than I expected. All of the main features are connected to the theme editor so I've spent zero time digging in liquid code to make changes. Also, the support is fantastic! Version 5.2.0 April 4, 2024
We have added support for Shopifys new color and filter swatch feature along with bug fixes and small improvements.
We have also removed all code references to Shopifys product reviews app which will cease functioning on May 6th 2024. Follow Shopifys documentation to migrate to another app.
Removed
- We have removed all code associated with the Shopify reviews app as part of a mandatory Shopify update.
Added
- We added support for a skip link to better navigate the store using the keyboard.
- We added support for Shopifys new product color swatch feature.
- We added support for Shopifys new filter color swatch feature.
- We have added a theme setting to the product grid which will allow merchants to disable the quick shop feature if needed.
Fixes and other improvements
- We have fixed a missing translation in collection filtering for Match all.
- We have fixed a z-index issue where product icons for Sale, New and Sold out would show on top of filter dropdowns.
- We have changed the free shipping countdown cart feature to be disabled by default.
- We have fixed an issue with the Add to Cart failing if quantity inputs and/or product variants are not present on a product page.
- We have fixed an issue which prevented dynamic checkout buttons from showing in the main cart page.

Foodie v5.1.1 adds fixes for bugs discovered in theme support, adds an FAQ page template, and add a date picker to the gift card recipient form.

- We fixed an issue with lists not adopting the image with text color scheme
- We fixed an issue with the email popup not closing if cookie policy is active
- We fixed an issue that prevented blog posts from filling the available space in the main blog page on mobile devices
- We fixed an issue with the blog sidebar where there was no limit imposed on the number of recent posts shown
- We fixed an issue with font families not having fallback options for unsupported fonts
- We fixed an issue with product image hover on mobile devices
- We fixed an issue with the quantity of items being added to the cart when the number was manually typed
