I've used Grid for a few years and I like the features for my site. There are different options from masonry layout to slider banners and grid format for your images and collections. You do need some custom CSS coding if you wanted to add anything beyond what the theme offers such as dropdown menus for variant choice options etc, but a shopify developer can always help with that. Support is good.
While I appreciate their quick customer support, I do feel like sooo many problems and questions could be solved if they shared more documentation for the Grid theme (currently, the theme's documentation is really general and provides info on a very high level.)
The customer support is top notch, quick and always willing to get the issue sorted.
