We've added a new Nutri-Score block for food stores and the Score block for everyone else. We've also added a few new icons, some SEO & accessibility enhancements and some bug fixes.
New
- Added a new Nutri-Score block to the Product page - particularly useful for any food stores.
- Added a new Score block to the Product page. This can be used to custom scores of products for different properties, e.g. Waterproof 3/5, Windproof 5/5 etc.
- Added four new icons in various sections:
- Digital / Plus
- Food & Beverage / Egg
- Other / Horizontal line
- Trust / Check mark
- The little add to cart icons on product cards can now simply be + symbols. Enable this in Theme Settings > Product cards > Always use + as the add to cart icon.
- Multicolumn and Testimonials sections now have additional settings to set an H2/H3/H4 per block.
- Email signup section now has a setting to turn off the background image.
- Added a new style for a Food-based demo.
Changed
- If the Announcement bar section only contains announcements, the text will now automatically centralize on desktop.
- The
on_sale_valuetranslation key (inproducts.product) has been renamed toon_sale_value_htmlto allow for HTML escaping. - The Header menu will now take up less space if it's the same color as the bar above it.
- Add to cart icons on stacked mini product cards are now the primary button rather than the secondary.
Fixes and Improvements
- General accessibility improvements.
- Fixed a Product page issue where some apps can show too wide on mobile.
- Image quality within the Slideshow and Image banner sections has been improved.
- Fixed an iOS bug with the display of article card images when they're set to show as 'Original' shape.

- Text just got funkier
- We've added fun new text effects to many of the Heading blocks on the theme. Check out Accent color, Outline (may not work with all fonts), and Glow among others!
- Introduced an Accent color into color schemes to support these new effects.
- A funky new text effect now allows you to animate through words by enclosing them in square brackets, e.g.,

- Popups just got smarter Learn more
- Popups can now appear when a user is about to exit the store (desktop only).
- Popups can now trigger when a user copies text to the clipboard. For example, you could show a "You won't find it cheaper!" message.
- Popups can now show when a link is clicked. Set the popup's ID and set the URL of any link to
#followed by the popup ID. - The buttons within the Buttons block can now close the popup.
- Popup and Alert sections now feature an option to change the color of the close icon (the X) to stand out against any background images.
- Product page updates
- A new Product group block is now available on the Product page. Group products together and display them as thumbnails in a variant-picker style. This allows for seamless switching between product colors or variations (similar to the Shopify Combined Listings app).
- The Table block on the Product page now has a setting to hide rows when Cell 2 is empty - perfect for metafield usage.
- The Table and Collapsible row blocks now have a setting for a custom icon and settings to control border visibility.
- Added a Barcode block to display a variant's barcode (ISBN, UPC, etc.).
- The Description block now has a text size setting.
- The Header search bar can now always be displayed on mobile to improve conversions. You can enable this in Header section > Search > Always show search bar on mobile.
- You can now add a custom payment icon under Theme Settings > Extras > Custom payment icon.
- The Image with collapsible rows and Collapsible content sections now have settings to control H2 tags, improving SEO.
Changed
- Important: The text controls for Table blocks on the Product page now offer additional settings (e.g., bold, links). This may cause a red error to appear in the Theme Editor when saving the product page. To resolve this, click into each Table block, make a small change (such as adding a period or space), and click Save. Learn more
- Optimized the appearance of the Quick filter section dropdowns.
- Items in the cart/cart drawer now display their original price where applicable to boost conversions.
- Optimized the display of Notifications message blocks on the product page.
Fixes and Improvements
- We've made significant under-the-cover improvements to make Ignite faster. JavaScript is now only loaded when needed, and the critical CSS file is now more lightweight.
- Several SEO improvements, especially with the H tag hierarchy on collection pages.
- Various accessibility improvements.
- Fixed a color issue with featured blog cards when excerpts are long.
- Fixed alignment issues with Highlight badges on product cards when text is centered.
- Fixed an issue in the Image Banner section where clickable images with links weren't working on mobile in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue on the product page where the 'Sticky add to cart' button was placed under the Hotspots section.
- Fixed an issue with wide tables on the product page on mobile.
- Fixed an issue where Inline Promotions on collection pages didn't display on mobile when 1-column width product cards were used.
- Fixed an inventory issue which can occur if the first variant on the page has no inventory management associated with it.

We've introduced a new Quick Filter section to help your customers quickly find the products they're looking for. Additionally, we've introduced bulk ordering to Ignite, with features like quantity selectors on product cards and a new 'Bulk Order' quick buy popup and product template. Product cards now also display more detailed information, including inventory levels and customizable product highlight badges.
New
- Quick Filter Section: We've introduced a 'Quick Filter' section to help your customers swiftly find the products they need. Multiple sections now include a 'Quick Filter' block. Check out our new 'Hardware' demo to see it in action.
- Mobile/desktop visibility: You can now selectively display sections on either mobile or desktop. This applies to most of the sections in the theme. Use this feature carefully, as excessive hidden content may impact SEO.
- Enhanced Product Cards: Product cards can now display inventory labels and product options as badges for quick reference.
- Custom Product Highlights: You can add custom product highlights to your product cards, helping to emphasize key features. Find this option in 'Theme Settings > Product Cards > Highlight Badges.'
- Bulk Order Functionality: Product cards now feature quantity selectors for single-variant products. This streamlines the purchasing process for products typically purchased in bulk. Configure this in 'Theme Settings > Product Cards.'
- New Quick Add Popup: Introducing a new 'Bulk order' quick add popup, designed for products typically purchased in bulk.
- Bulk Order Product Template: A new 'Bulk order' product template allows you to designate individual products as bulk-purchase items.
- Product Page Table Block: A new Table block on the product page enables you to display metafield-driven data such as compatibility lists or specifications.
- 24 New Icons: We've added 24 fresh icons to enhance your theme's versatility.
- Collection Card Enhancements: Two new settings for controlling shadow and image scale are available for Collection Cards. Find them in 'Theme Settings > Collection Cards.'
- Inventory Badge: The Inventory block on the product page now offers an option to display inventory levels as a badge.
- Image Zoom: Product images can now be magnified on the product page.
- Tax Information: A new setting allows you to hide tax information from the Price block on the product page.
- Price and Rating on Product Title: The product title can now display both the price and product rating.
- In-Store Pickup Option: The Buy Buttons block on the product page now includes an option to hide the In-Store Pickup panel.
- Related Products in Add-to-Cart Notification: The add-to-cart notification can now display related products, and clicking 'View Cart' opens the cart drawer (if enabled) on mobile.
- Collection & Search Filters: Filters on Collection and Search pages now include options for adjusting the filter title text, including uppercase and font size settings.
- New preset: We've added a new preset for a 'Hardware' demo.

- Bulk Order List Update: The 'Quick Order List' section on the product page is now called the 'Bulk Order List.' Some settings have been moved to 'Theme Settings > Bulk Order List.' You may need to pick these settings again if you use this section.
- Product Rating Star Colors: There's a new setting for customizing product rating star colors on the product page. Previously, this was controlled in 'Theme Settings > Product Cards.'
- Inventory Block Settings: Some Inventory block settings have been moved to 'Theme Settings > Inventory.'
- Placeholder Images: Product cards with no image will now display a placeholder image by default.

- Firefox Compatibility: Fixed a visual issue with dropdown options on the product page in Firefox.
- Order Table Optimization: Enhanced the display of the order table for a more streamlined experience.
- Slider Display: Resolved an issue on the product page where the slider wouldn’t display when 'Show Thumbnails' was set to 'Never.'
- Slideshow Focal Points: Fixed an issue in the Slideshow section where focal points weren’t maintained on mobile.
- Mobile Image Aspect Ratio: Corrected an issue in the Slideshow section where the mobile image aspect ratio wasn’t consistent on mobile devices.
