Taiga 5.0.0 introduces the following changes:
Added
- Added new AI section that supports AI-generated theme blocks. Merchants can now generate sections as they wish.
- Added
[br]shortcode support in heading text inputs to allow manual line breaks. - Added more sale badge display options. You can now choose between the default text, savings percentage, or amount saved. This applies to product cards and the product page.
- Added accessibility improvements to enhance the online store experience for everyone.
- Added media and custom Liquid support to the Collapsible / FAQ section, allowing images and videos in answers.
- Added subheading support in the Collapsible / FAQ section to group related questions under a topic.
- Added dropdown display option in the Header section for desktop, allowing classic hover-based navigation.
Changed
- Changed textarea fields to text inputs for better support with dynamic sources.
- Changed header styles slightly when using the shop name as logo.
- Important: Changed the Collapsible / FAQ section settings for the media toggle. Check that your section still appears correctly.
- Important: Changed the text block in the Collapsible / FAQ section to a section header block. If you used text blocks, you'll need to update to the new block type.
Fixes and improvements
- Fixed visibility issues with line item properties in the cart notification.
- Fixed cart content display when using the browser back button.
- Fixed pointer event behavior in the cart notification.
- Fixed display issues with crossed-out variant options in the Quick view modal.

Taiga 4.0.0 Release Notes
Taiga 4.0.0 updates the theme to align with the latest Theme Store structure. Once installed, the Taiga theme will now follow the selected preset structure, including sections and template settings. This makes it easier and faster for you—the merchant—to set up your store.

- Added breadcrumb support for collection and product pages. Breadcrumbs can include up to four levels and can be easily toggled on or off. To maximize control, the category and subcategory levels are managed via metafields.
- Added a Product structured data toggle to Theme Settings. Use this setting if you have a third-party app that handles structured data. Found in Theme Settings > Advanced.
