I find that formatting of images and text is not consistent and is limited. It's hard to find the right settings between desktop/mobile. I'm not sure where the countdown timer is. It would be nice if there was an option to hide the video controls. Product videos via YouTube display zoomed in. Many good things as well....

Hey, thanks for your feedback! There is not a built in countdown feature in any of our free themes, you can find apps from the Shopify App Store (https://bit.ly/3M9GxtV) to add this in. For videos, it would negatively affect your store's accessibility to remove video controls so that's why there is not option to hide them - it's better for your customers to have control.

I am trying to move from my dawn based theme to this but there is no blog grid for the homepage which is really frustrating and the AI is no help.

Hello, this is something our developers want to add into the section options in a future version release! In the meantime, we suggest trying different AI prompts to get this working. We used something like "Make a List: Grid that contains blog posts." and got a section with blog posts to appear successfully. You may have to play around with the prompts before getting something you can utilize.

The previously simple and practical 'adapt to the first image' height adjustment option in the Dawn theme is gone. It has been replaced by several fixed values and percentages, and there's no longer a way to adjust the height separately for mobile devices. This causes the display on mobile to become overly exaggerated after setting a satisfactory height on desktop.
