we bought this theme for certain functions and integrations with apps like Zepto product personalize.. however, it's not user-friendly and the support isn't responsive.. there's nothing like a live chat. They take over 48 hours to reply to mail.. we currently use page-fly which has live support and can help you fix things if you have issues with it but I can't say the same for focal..

We indeed do not offer live chat for support, but we can see that we answered your two emails in less than 24h (and not over 48h as you are stating). Also, we do not provide any support for apps. Apps are supported by their own developers, so if you're having issue with a specific app like Zepto, you need to reach them directly.

The theme was just okej. I was not happy that I had to add a lot of meta fields and such. I wanted all features to be just available in the customization navigation. But for example for color swatches I had to go through all the struggle of adding metafields and still I haven't been able to fully figure it out.

Added support for combined listing (only available for Shopify Plus merchants). Combined listings bring together products that are merchandised by an option, such as color, model, or dimension. Learn more.
Added support for upcoming increase of variants per product limit. In 2024 and 2025, Shopify will progressively update its product underlying model to allow up to 2000 variants per product. Starting from this version of Focal, your theme will be compatible when the feature will be introduced.
Liquid blocks added in product blocks will now re-render whenever the variant changes. This allows you to write variant-specific information in such blocks, and the content will now properly adjust to match the selected variant.
A new setting for the slideshow section that allows to turn off the initial transition. Turning off initial animation helps reducing the LCP. As a consequence, to protect merchants and ensure they have the best possible performance by default, the animation is disabled by default. Merchants who prefer to go back to the old behavior and prioritize appearance over performance, can manually turn on the new setting to enable initial transition.
Custom badges can now be added by using metafields instead of tags. This setup allows to consolidate how custom labels use across our themes. You can learn more about custom badges using metafields in our documentation.
