Extremely responsive support service, very pleasant theme If you see problems in the comments due to the choice of variants it is not their fault but due to an update of shopify nothing to do with this theme

we have LOVED this theme. And if issues arise, they work hard and as fast as they can to fix issues that are beyond their control (like the Shopify regression that broke some functionality of the theme).

The worst experience we have had on Shopify so far. Suddenly, the variant picker was broken in the theme, and we didn't get any support to fix it. After talking with the Maestroo team, they discovered this was because of Shopify, and after 24 hours, they fix it in our theme. It made us have a horrible day, but they finally helped us solve it in our theme as soon as possible. Thanks for that.

We are extremely disappointed that we chose this theme. It caused us to lose thousands of dollars. Customers were unable to shop for hours because they couldn't choose variants, and we received dozens of emails. Such a problem is absolutely unacceptable.

Version 4.0.0 - February 10, 2023

Added

  • Support for section groups: section groups allow you to easily add, remove and re-order sections in header and footer area. This allows to add global sections whose content is shared on every page, without having to manually duplicate the information across pages.
  • Support for search suggestions in predictive search: query suggestions are generated by extracting words and phrases from your product catalog, as well as from customer searches, using natural language processing techniques. Search suggestions can be enabled or disabled in global theme settings.
  • A new "Show view cart button" setting has been added for the cart drawer, which allows merchants to only show a checkout button for faster checkout experience.
  • On "content pages" section, a new setting "Content width" has been added to allow controlling how narrow the text is.

Improved

  • The "checkbox" line item property for product section now supports a required attribute. This can be used to force a customer to check a box before being able to add a product to their cart.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where the navigation arrows would not appear in the "related products" section if the section progress bar is disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Open first tab on mobile" setting for the "Tabs" section would not work as expected.
  • Fixed an issue where the quick view would not load under rare circumstances in the theme editor for products with a variant.
  • Fixed the "on scroll" mode for the "scrolling text" section, which was not working properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the settings to change the "View" button background and color would not work properly in the Feature Chart section.

Changed

  • The slideshow and image with text overlay sections, when configured with a fixed height size, used to display very tall on tablet only. This was initially done to have a more consistent format with portrait tablets, but this caused some images to stretch and look odd on tablet. We have switched the logic to use a ratio closer to desktop on tablet mode as well.

Removed

  • The search settings have been removed from the theme. To configure which resource to search for and how to control how sold out products appear in the search, you need to use the new unified "Settings" page in the Search & Discovery app.

Version 3.1.1 - December 22, 2022

Added

  • In the global "product card" setting, in addition to the existing "natural", "tall", "square" and "short" pre-defined sizes for image, we have added three new values: "tall - crop", "square - crop" and "short - crop". In addition to enforcing a fixed ratio for the images, those new settings also crop the images so that it fills the box.
  • You can now control the background and icon color of the cursor for the "Before/after" section independently of other colors.
  • If your product contains weight in Shopify admin, we now expose this value to Google through microdata schema.

  • The "product recommendations" section has been renamed to "Related products" to better reflect its intent.

Fixed

  • Fixed a rare situation where YouTube video may not play properly on product pages.
  • Fixed an issue where the product media would not scroll correctly when using the "variant image set" feature in conjunction with some specific combination of theme settings.
  • Fixed an issue where button on the "Multiple images with text" may not be properly clickable.
  • Fixed an issue where the "multiple images with text" section could show the content misaligned when using very short content.

Improved

  • On mobile, the space between menu and search icons have been slightly increased to prevent accidental touching of one icon over another.
  • On mobile, the addresses on account page are now wider to make it easier for customers to read and edit them.

Version 3.1.0 - December 5, 2022

Added

  • A new "newsletter popup" section has been added, which allows to capture emails from your customers.
  • A new global setting has been added for product card that allows to control how the reviews are displayed. It supports either a rating mode displaying the average rating (for instance: 4.5) which is the default, or a rating count (for instance: 3 reviews).
  • Added a new "subheading" setting for the "Media with text" section.

Fixed

  • The "fill screen height" for the slideshow section will now work properly when the announcement bar is disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where translations for buttons that contain the apostrophe character may lead to incorrect text formatting.
  • Fixed an issue where the header may unnecessarily hide on Safari browsers when using the "hide on scroll" option.
  • Fixed an issue where mega-menu configured in "drawer" mode on desktop may not display correctly under some rare circumstances.
  • "Filter and sort" mobile floating button on collection and search pages is now always filled (even when the button global style is set to "outline") to ensure it remains clearly visible when scrolling the page.
  • Fixed an issue where the next/prev cursor would be visible on top of the product gallery in carousel mode, even if there was only one media for the product.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Recently viewed products" section would render products that have been completely removed from a store as an empty box instead of being skipped.
  • Fixed an issue where product containing a hyphen in their title would only show, in the cart page, the title part before the hyphen (ignoring the content after).
  • Ensure that the free shipping bar excludes line items that do not require shipping (such as gift card or non-physical products) from the shipping calculation.

Changed

  • Product or collection images for drawer mega-menu will no longer be cropped, and will honor original image aspect ratio.

Removed

  • The big text repeating the label for the "Timeline" section has been removed. We have received a lot of feedback from merchants who found this very confusing and visually distracting.
