We're using the Impulse, Modern theme. It's elegant and pretty out of the box. Very little needs to be done for the existing template. However if you need to customize it, you will need to pay for support from Storetasker and other affiliates which is a hit-or-miss and expensive depending on your requirement. So far the support from Steve and George at Archetype have been great!

I have tried many themes in my time using Shopify and over many different types of website. This is hands down my favourite one. Support unfortunately is incredibly hit and miss and they're very eager to pass you on to paid services even if the issue is down to the base code. Updating the theme is actually beyond a nightmare if you use third party apps, or any customisations.
