Xtra v4.0.0 contains added functionalities, updates and general fixes
Added
- A 'Stock urgency' block has been added to the main productpage section and featured product section.
- A 'Bulk upsell' block has been added to the main productpage section and featured product section.
- Added 'collections menu' setting to collectionpage + searchpage
- A 'Show inventory for pre-order products' setting has been added to the general products settings
- A 'Show shipping timer when product is unavailable' setting has been added to the general shipping & delivery settings
Updated
- Breaking!: We have updated plain title fields to inline rich text fields to support Shopify AI features. Certain HTML like line breaks by using in title fields are no longer permitted and will return an error in the Shopify theme editor. You can use instead or remove any HTML causing errors.
- Updated settings, icon and share link for X (previously Twitter)
- The color scheme toolbar in the theme editor has been removed
- Added support for Shopify theme editors' section preview feature
Fixes and other improvements
- The sections' edges were not clickable when 'full width' was chosen in the slideshow section
- In the variantpicker, separate options buttons/dropdown did not get the correct 'unavailable' styling in main productpage + featured product section
- The shipping timer was visible for pre-order products in main productpage + featured product section
- The footer customer service image was stretched on certain width
- The images in the brand logo slider section were displayed too small
- Text in a linked location was did not show in the correct color in events calendar section
- When there was only one variant, the option name was still displayed
- Productcards did not always show the correct variant image after filtering on the collectionpage + searchpage
- Empty urls in the header were not always detected
- Read more/less disappeared from the product description on mobile in main productpage section
- Changing variants when 'buttons' and 'enable separate options' were chosen caused an error in the featured product section
- The third banner appeared distorted/blurry on tablet devices in the image gallery section
- When the testimonials section was set to layout 'slider', it caused an error in the browsers' console
- The pre-order feature was also applied to variants where inventory tracking was disabled
- The shipping timer was not working on sundays
- The timer was not working on sundays in the countdown banner section
- Images/icons were not clickable in the multicolumn section
- After switching from an unavailable variant to an available variant, the dynamic buy button remained unclickable in the main productpage section + featured product section
- The product quantity rules "min" and "increment" were not working correctly in the main productpage section, productpage sticky add to cart section, featured product section and productcards
- On the productpage, the Sticky add to cart bar position 'top' was wrong on tablet view
- When a custom short description contained HTML, the text was showing twice in the main productpage section + featured product section
- The height of the quantity input was wrong for products in the image hotspot banner
- With the checkbox enabled on the cartpage, clicking the discount/giftcard redeem button would not validate the checkbox
- The performance of the 'second image on hover' for productcards has been improved
- The performance of loading images has been improved
- The accessibility and performance of various pages/elements have been improved
- Various small styling improvements and code refactoring
