The theme looks great although it is missing a few features such as the ability to add images without boarders (so they fade into the background) and customise the footer layout. Support has been great especially Karla who went above and beyond for us to get our issue sorted within the same day.

I really like the Impact. It is relatively easy to customize to my needs, which is a big plus. One of the most important aspects is that this theme works very well with metadata, which is crucial for me. Additionally, the theme operates stably, and I have never encountered any major issues.
Some users worry about the frequent updates of the theme. In my opinion, this is a good thing.

Yes, as explained at support we do not provide custom coding service. Posting the same reviews five times from stores you had access as an agency is a clear violation of partner rules and is unacceptable. We want to let you know we have escalated this to the Shopify Partner governance.

When you make 3 releases a month, turning your developers job into a hell. I'd look else where when I'm buying a theme
Their response is that updates are optional but when you change the code too much in your new releases making the old versions pretty much useless, we have no option but to update the theme.
Save time, look at other themes.

We're sorry to hear about that. Version 6.0 was a major rewrite of the code to support upcoming Shopify features, and despite our long testing, some bugs sneaked into it. We prefer to release new versions as soon as we discover bugs to ensure new customers are not impacted. And yes, updates are entirely optional on Shopify! Your theme will continue to work forever even if you don't upgrade.
Fixed a regression introduced in version 6.0.0 where color swatch would sometimes not work on filter on collection pages.
Fixed an issue where gift card recipient fields on gift card products would be visible even though the "I want to send this as a gift" checkbox is turned off.
Some rarely used fonts in Shopify font picker did not display links correctly (the line would appear in the middle of the text instead of below). It is now fixed and should work with every possible font.

Added support for combined listing (only available for Shopify Plus merchants). Shopify Plus merchants who currently use the product variations block feature are encouraged to migrate to the native feature instead. Combined listings bring together products that are merchandised by an option, such as color, model, or dimension. Learn more.
Added support for upcoming increase of variants per product limit. In 2024 and 2025, Shopify will progressively update its product underlying model to allow up to 2000 variants per product. Starting from this version of Prestige, your theme will be compatible when the feature will be introduced.
Liquid blocks added in product blocks will now re-render whenever the variant changes. This allows you to write variant-specific information in such blocks, and the content will now properly adjust to match the selected variant.

Product Schema.org microdata has been updated to use the new structured_data Liquid filter. Microdata for product is now managed at Shopify level, and will allow to keep the schema in sync with future Google changes, without the need to upgrade the theme. Because it is no longer managed by the theme, if you find attributes that are missing, you will need to reach Shopify support directly instead of us.
Article Schema.org microdata has been updated to use the new structured_data Liquid filter.

Developers
In order to unify the architecture of our themes and to improve performance, the theme.js.liquid and sections.js.liquid have been merged into a single file. We also removed the usage of js.liquid to plain .js by leveraging import maps. This approach helps fixing some long-standing bugs that could occur in the theme editor, and slightly improve performance.
Previously, when a variant would change, the theme would re-render the new variant in JavaScript. This allowed an immediate feedback. The support for combined listing and upcoming variant count increase now requires to re-render the whole section using the Section Rendering API whenever a variant changes, and re-render the section. We have added some preloading techniques to ensure that variant changes remains fast, but this also means that, because the product section will be re-rendered, JS listeners attached to product page sections will be lost when the variant changes.
The product object is no longer part of the variant:change event that is triggered whenever the buyer select a new variant. This has been done for performance reasons and to comply with the new restrictions of the variant limit (variant and previousVariant are still part of it). If you need to get the information about a product beside the variant information, you will need to use the Ajax product API, or store yourself the product information in Liquid.
