• May 20, 2026Empire 13.0.0 is a major release that removes tag collection filtering in favor of faceted filters, adds support for metafield swatches, and introduces new page templates (About, Locations, Services, and an updated FAQ). The Rich Text and Image with Text sections have been refactored with blocks, and the theme gains new features including currency code display, a Threads social icon, and a preview mode for the age gate theme setting.
