I have been using the Testament theme in my Shopify for store for almost 4 years and I love it! Currently, I am on a legacy version of the theme, but I am working on switching to a new version by the end of the year. We have removed all code references to Shopifys product reviews app which will cease functioning on May 6th 2024. Follow Shopifys documentation to migrate to another app.
Removed
- We have removed all code associated with the Shopify reviews app as part of a mandatory Shopify update.
- We removed an unused sidebar setting from the main collection section.
Added
- We added translations to the scroll up button.
- We added a checkbox to the gift card section allowing merchants to hide or show the QR code.
- We added an image setting to the gift card section allowing merchants to upload a preferred gift card image.
- We added a checkbox to the announcement bar section making social icons optional.
- We added a range indicator to the product and featured product sections.
- We added a checkbox to the footer section which allows store policies to be enabled / disabled.
- We added visual and functionality improvements to the Cookie consent popup.
- We added a setting to autoplay product videos wihin the product grid.
- We added a background image option to the countdown section.
- We added a countdown block to the product and featured product sections.

- We fixed the button colors in the Image with Text section.
